Remote Learning Overview

Remote Learning

If your child is self-isolating, their class teacher will contact you to provide lessons and activities for them to continue learning whilst at home.  The learning we provide mirrors the routines and activities we complete when in school so your child should be familiar with what is expected of them.   New learning will be introduced with teaching videos and activities will be linked to this so your child can use what they have learned.

Mrs Morris has put together a video explaining everything that you need to know.

Click the link below or visit our school YouTube Channel, https://www.youtube.com/user/EastwayPrimary/playlists

We hope that you find it useful, please ask for help if you need it.

All teaching videos are shared on our school YouTube channel, so if you miss a lesson or need to watch again, they are all available alongside our PE Beat the Teacher challenges, family quizzes, mindfulness activities, assemblies and information videos.

Each child has been given a remote learning pack that includes workbooks, an exercise book and pencils.

If you need further activities, please use our online reading and maths websites: Read Theory, Bug Club and TTRockstars.
Their logins are in the front page of their home learning books.  If you cannot find this, email your child's class teacher who will be able to help.
